Macia is a production engineer who graduated in 1992 from the University EAFIT in Colombia . In 1997 he received a specialization in management ( MBA ) with emphasis in International Business at the University of Brighton in England . He then completed his course in management at the business school Grenoble Ecole de Management in France .
He has participated in executive programs such as the one held at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is currently studying Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology ( MIT ).
His first position in business was at Compañía de Galletas Noel in Colombia , he then took the post of Regional Manager at 3M Colombia , where he served until August 2001 . He then joined GLOS SA as their new CEO .
