Since its founding in 1982 , RIBEIRÃO SA ( RISA ) -- headquartered in Baixa Grande do Ribeiro , Piauí -- important steps have been taken towards developing the regional agricultural sector . Currently , RISA units are located in south Maranhão , Piauí , acting in national agribusiness . In their 13 subsidiaries , the group produces and sells agricultural commodities and services like soybean seeds , agricultural pesticides and machinery , fertilizer formula with raw materials , drying and storage of grain and production and transport .
